I woke up at 5am this morning, from another bad dream. I don’t know whether it was the fact that I just couldn’t get back to sleep, or that I was too scared to.

A little birdy told me the other day that after being with his girlfriend for a very long period of time he was, in metaphorical terms, looking to try different flavours – as in different girls. This somehow drunkenly led to more metaphors of girls being like pizza.

So, this little birdy wanted to try some different pizza, after having the same pizza for the majority of his life. I told him ‘no, no, no, you only should have the pizza you have now’ as I’m the sort of girl who likes long-term relationships. However, after a few weeks of being sober, it has been on my mind quite a bit and without relating it to my own relationship for all you lurkers out there, I have come to the realization that after eating the same pizza for years and years, it is only human that you would want to try a different flavour. Though I find it sad that humans… men in particular… can’t seem to just enjoy one pizza in their life, and resort to cheating or flirting with other toppings, little birdy, I believe that you can never go past your favourite pizza and you’ll go to order it every time.
